LASIK & Cosmetic Procedure Financing

At Inland Eye Institute, we understand that cost is often a major road block for people considering elective medical procedures such as LASIK or cosmetic procedures that are not covered by insurance. We work hard to make improving your vision or enhancing your appearance as affordable as possible by offering 0% interest financing options for up to 24 months through CareCredit®. We also offer longer term low-interest financing options. We’ll work hard to make your procedure fit into your budget.

You can submit a credit request online and have an answer almost immediately…without affecting your credit report.

If you are considering LASIK from a center that is offering significantly lower LASIK costs such as $299, $499 or even $699 per eye, make sure you read the “fine print” to learn exactly what level of care and technology you get for that price. You may find that you will be charged extra for things that are normally included in the LASIK cost like initial Consultations, pre-operative exams and post-operative care.

Fees for cosmetic procedures vary greatly. The best way to learn how much your procedure will cost is by scheduling a Cosmetic Consultation.

Using Flex Plans for LASIK & Cosmetic Procedures

Flexible Spending Accounts and Cafeteria Plans allow you to allocate a portion of your paychecks to be placed into a tax-free account to use for non-reimbursable medical expenses, such as LASIK or cosmetic procedures. Flex plans can help you save a significant amount off your procedure. Most Flex Plans have strict rules for how and when you can use these funds, so make sure you fully understand the details of your plan before you enroll.

Guidelines to Follow for Flex Plans

  1. Make sure you are a good candidate for the procedure you desire by having a Consultation with an experienced doctor.
  2. Find out your company’s deadline for open enrollment to sign up for Flexible Spending Plans.
  3. Determine how much money you should allocate to your account to cover the cost of your procedure. Your doctor should be able to tell you this during your Consultation.
  4. Use your allocated funds before the time limit runs out.

If you have any questions about LASIK financing, cosmetic procedure financing or wonder if your insurance will cover any portion of your procedure, please call us and we’ll walk you through the process.carecredit2
